Let's hear it for remote backups!!
At about 8:15 am MST on January 22, the PR server was hit by a *bleepage* hacker who deleted all the files for this website, a map website, and a project website all of which were housed on the same machine. 'nuff said.
The backups restored everything up to 5:30 pm MST on January 21; anything posted after that is gone, but I don't think that's more than one or two posts at most. Sorry 'bout that folks. I've upgraded security and re-done the backup schedule to make it even more bulletproof than before. Hopefully this will be our last experience with bored scriptkiddies.
Thank you so much for your patience on January 22 when the website was, basically, gone. I've put the snow back for a bit to celebrate.

In an attempt to start the New Year off on a good note, I've added a new game to the Games page, and have another one in the works (so stay tuned, 'cause it's just gonna show up without warning in the near future).
The latest one is a mousie version of the old favourite, Concentration, or Memory if you prefer. Y'know, the one where you match up pairs of pictures to reveal a hidden picture beneath? Ya, that one, only with mice.

The Mousie Cam has been moved onto a new system and is back up and running even better than before. Currently it's pointed at the two little deer mice that live with me; hopefully by this time next week it will feature a brand new litter of little pink eekers. Enjoy! Oh, moustress just reminded me: you'll need Windows Media Player to view the mousiecam, and you can get the free download HERE. It works with Firefox as well as Internet Explorer; I haven't tried it with any other systems.
